The newly elected top members of the Executive Committee of the UWI Alumni Association (Jamaica Chapter), effective August 1, 2006 until July 31, 2007, are as follows:
President – Mrs. Nadine Marriott
Vice President – Miss Suwannee Caine

Ms. Jennifer Cheesman will also sit on the Executive Committee as the Representative of the Office of the Principal

The elections took place at the AGM held in 2006 at the Courtleigh Hotel

At the Annual General Meeting of the MSc HRD Alumni Association held on April 19, 2005 a new executive was elected as follows:

The Department of Geography and Geology Exhibits "Oldest" Sea Cow
The Department of Geography and Geology has a new exhibit, a mounted skeleton of the oldest and most primitive Sea Cow that is known and is estimated to be about 50 million years old. It will be on permanent display in the Geology Museum at UWI, Mona.
