Mission Statement
The mission of the UWI Alumni Association (Jamaica Chapter) is to be visible, vibrant, influential organisation that will maintain contact, interest and commitment amongst graduates in order to support the continued development of the University of the West Indies (Mona Campus) and Jamaica.

The Vision
The UWI Alumni Association (Jamaica Chapter) (UAAJC) envisions that by 2007:

• every graduate will become a contributor to the GREAT THINGS Programme
• the UAAJC will be recognized as the premier professional alumni organization in Jamaica and will have name recognition at University, national and regional levels
• our alumni will provide significant resources to the Mona Campus through ideas, financial and volunteer support
• an expanded loyal and committed membership will exist
• the UAAJC will be the unifying link for all Alumni groups affiliated with the University of West Indies
• our Alumni will assist in enabling the Mona campus to continue to be a leading institution in research, the formation of indigenous products and job creation through entreeneurship.
