University Benefits

Use of Main and Medical Libraries

1. Must be a member of the UWI Alumni Association.
2. UWIAA members do not pay a fee for use of the Libraries. However, a fee will be charged for borrowing books.

Use of the Pool (Mona Bowl)

1. Must be a member of the UWI Alumni Association.
2. Upon presentation of the UWIAA I. D.
   Obtain a letter from Maintenance (Housing Dept.) and pay
   $5,000 for annual pass
   $2,500 for 6 months
   $60 a day

Note: Exceptions
If the member wishes to go every day for a month or 3 months, they can
discuss with Housing and they will accomodate an individual schedule
and work out the payments for the Bursary.

Procedure - Steps a,b and c, as in # 1 above

Lyssons Beach
Year pass = $5,000.00
6 month pass = $2,500.00
(Member plus up to 5 others)

Procedure
a) To Maintenance (Housing Section) with I.D. and UWIAA membership
card. There member will get a letter to take to the Bursary
b) Pay at the Bursary
c) Collect pass at front desk of Secretariat (Ground Floor, Assembly
Hall Building)

Gym (Tel Ext: 2174)
Normal fee = $2,500.00 per month
A discount of 20% was negotiated - check with Dwayne Brown, the Manager
at 405-0924-C

Use of the University Chapel

1. Must be a member of the UWI Alumni Association
2. Applications should be made in writing to the Campus Registrar for the attention of Secretary,

Chapel Management Committee - normally no less than 4 months before the scheduled date.

1. If eligibility and the date and time are available - the applicant will be requested to pay the appropriate fees to the Bursary (in cash or by Manager's cheque).

Call the UWIAA DITTO Office for charges for weddings, wedding rehearsals, baptisms and lists of approved organists etc.

BCIC - discounts on car insurance for UWIAA members.

Life Membership
Life membership shall be conferred on a member by the UWIAA or any of its
affiliate groups, for outstanding achievement, service or contributions.
