Privacy Promise for UWIAA Members
While information is the cornerstone of our ability, to provide superior service, we believe that keeping member information secure, and using it only as our members would want us to, is a top priority for the Alumni Association of the Mona Campus.

Our Promise:

1. We will safeguard according to strict standard of security and confidentiality, any information our members share with us.
2. We will limit the collection and use of member information to the minimum we require to deliver superior service to our members, which includes advising our members about Guild Plus products and services and other opportunities.
3. We will not reveal member information to any other external organization, except our Guild Plus partners, and this will be done in co-ordination with UWIAA office, to ensure bonafide offers are made to our members.
4. We will always maintain control over the confidentiality of our member information. We may however, facilitate reputable marketing and promotional offers from Guild Plus partners.
5. Members can contact us to remove their names from the Guild Plus partners marketing list.

An exclusive benefits programme for alumni designed to reward members for contributing to the UWIAA in order to help fund the GREAT THINGS programme which assists the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus.

What are the benefits?

A variety of discounts/concessions made available to active UWIAA members from diverse organisations and businesses.

1. SuperClubs will offer a 10% discount at the following SuperClubs Resorts to Guild Members:
Jamaica - Grand Lido Negril, Grand Lido Sans Souci, Grand Lido Braco, Breezes Runaway Bay, Breezes Montego Bay, Hedonism II and Hedonism III
Cuba - Breezes Varadero, Breezes Jibacoa, Breezes Cost Verde, Puntarena. This discount will also be applicable to packages - airfare, hotel accomodation and ground tours (ground tour is offered only in cases of groups of ten or more.
Nassau, Bahamas - Breezes Bahamas ** Although not a SuperClubs Resort, this offer is also extended to Trelawny Beach.
Please note: All bookings MUST be made through the UWIAA office to ensure that persons are members of the Guild. The discount will NOT apply where a sales agent (third party) becomes involved in the transaction. This offer is not valid on Jamaican Holiday Weekends.

3. Under Membership (we are no longer going to offer the option to purchase life membership so please remove any mention of the $10,000.00 fee from the site) – whatever is listed re Life membership should be replaced with:
Life membership shall be conferred on a member by the UWIAA or any of its affiliate groups, for outstanding achievement, service or contributions.

3. Discounts on Motor Vehicle Insurance with BCIC
BCIC will offer members of the UWIAA the following:

• 15% UWI Alumni Member discount
• 10% Introductory New Business Discount
• No Claim Discount (subject to NCD proof) as per BCIC rate guide
• Motor Accident Scene Assistance at no extra cost
• A further 10% discount if the member elects to also have their property insured with BCIC
